Our Story

Charlotte Likes To Party is a three-generation luxury party rental business born right here in Charlotte, NC.

It started with birthday parties. Every year, Season pulled out all the stops for her daughter Kennedy — teepees, backdrops, glitter walls, movie nights, the works. And behind every stunning detail was Elaine, Season's mom, with the creative eye that made everything look like it came straight out of a magazine.

Friends would show up and ask, "Who did this?" Neighbors would peek over the fence. Other moms would start texting.

So Kennedy had a simple idea: Mom, we should do this for other people.

She was right.

Today, Charlotte Likes To Party brings that same over-the-top love and attention to detail to celebrations all across Charlotte and surrounding areas. Elaine brings the creative vision. Season runs the operation. Kennedy brings the energy. Together they deliver, set up, and style every single detail — then come back to take it all down.

Grandma Elaine — The creative force behind every setup. With an eye for detail that can't be taught, she is the heart and soul of Charlotte Likes To Party's signature aesthetic. Every color palette, every styled vignette, every finishing touch that makes guests stop and say "who did this?" — that's her. She's been making spaces beautiful her entire life. Now she's doing it for Charlotte.

Season — Mom, entrepreneur, and the woman behind the vision. With over 25 years in business and tech, Season brings serious operational expertise to every event — which means your setup is always on time, always flawless, and always exactly what you imagined. She also runs The Social Barber, a platform helping barbers and beauty pros build their brands. She knows a thing or two about building something from scratch.

Kennedy — The co-founder who started it all with one idea. She handles creative direction, social media, and brings the energy that makes every event feel like a celebration before the guests even arrive.
